All the machines of the UNIMAT 1 are child-friendly. Due to the short strokes of the jigsaw blade, the fingers of a young carpenter cannot be injured.
The included UNIMAT 1 manual, the DVD and the construction plan book provide all the necessary instructions and suggestions.
Jigsaw

The powerful jigsaw can be used with plywood, solid wood (up to 7 mm), balsa wood (20 mm), plastics and thin metal sheets. No annoying opening and clamping of the jigsaw blade when cutting windows and notches
Woodturning Machine

The smallest lathe in the world creates elaborate pieces of turned wood. The small 12 V power package achieves an outstanding result with a distance between centers of 135 mm (up to 324 mm extendable) and up to 50 mm diameter, while still being childproof.
Chandeliers, scale masts, gun barrels, doll house furniture ... all easily done.
Sanding Machine

The stationary rotating sanding disc provides the final touch to your work pieces and can sharpen your tools: scissors to carving knives, chisels, gouges, etc. It can also be used as a hand-sander for hard-to-reach places.

Metal Turning Machine

Turn soft metal just like a toolmaker. Longitudinal and cross slide with scaled hand-wheels allow precise working. Designed like a professional lathe, UNIMAT 1 offers the possibility of manufacturing axles, rims, cannons, and other model-making objects of non-ferrous metals all by yourself.

Horizontal Mill

For architecture models, key and slot joints etc. Collets from 1 to 6 mm clamping range promote a true run for the milling. The tilting slides allow milling at different angles.
Drill Press

Precise drilling at any angle. The machining centre offers traverse paths on the X-, Y- and Z-axis. Three controlled slides (turnable) for three dimensional working. A technician‘s delight.
Machine Option Vertical Milling Machine
Equipped with the included HSS end mill, the drill press turns into the vertical milling machine. Any standard tool up to 6 mm can be used!

Due to the wide range of available accessories, an endless array of other machine tools can be constructed.
For the UNIMAT 1 professionalist, a gear mill for building gear wheels is only the beginning. The system even allows for the possible construction of a spiral mill. The extensive information materials enable the interested user to take the first steps into the world of professional machine engineering.
Within reason, any machine you can think of may be possible.
For special machines, any single part, up to the smallest screw, is available. The UNIMAT1 CLASSIC opens new dimensions in applications and precision.
