Driveshaft Flex Disc
The drive shaft flex disc is a flexible reinforced rubber disc used on one or both ends of many driveshaft applications. The flex discs has bolt holes sleeved with metal guides. Half the bolt holes mount to the driveshaft and the other half mount to the vehicle. Flex discs have a similar function to universal joints.
These parts are also known as giubo or guibo, hardy disc, flexible disc and flex disc.

Thanks to the SGF flex disc technology, the drive torque is transmitted according to the principle of tensile force transmission instead of compressive load, which increases durability and strength. This allows for a more compact design with less mass and size, while maintaining the elastic decoupling and damping properties of the rubber.
