In Liguria at Cantina San Steva, legendary brewers André Trudel and Giovanni Campari began their winemaking practice. Working with the winemaker-owner, they listened, observed, learned, innovated, and humbly became the Wine Brewers. With thousands of brews over decades behind them, their shared passion for wine sparked new adventures in fermentation.
Lestofante is a white ripasso of Vermentino, which had a bried aging in wood and was then passed over the pomace of Moscatello di Taggia Passito. It is a wine you don't expect; on the nose, it has aromas of Moscatello Passito, but on the palate, it has the light structure of a white wine, finishing with the lingering residual sugar (18g/L).
