All our violins are set up by our technician before they are sold. This process includes:
- Checking of body for cracks and irregular tonewood
- Checking of the Scroll box for correctly fitted pegs
- Checking of the nut for string positioning
- Fitting bridge to correct height and shape to the body
- Checking and respositioning of sound post if required
- Checking of bow tensioning
- Tuning
- Application of rosin to the bow
